History

Welcome to BachataStars, the biggest, oldest and most influential Bachata Sensual improvisation competition in the world. BachataStars is owned and was created by Korke nearly 10 years ago, with the vision of spreading the love for Bachata Sensual all over the globe and have it reach as many people as possible.

BachataStars is proud to be an international competition open to anyone to participate, no matter your country origin, culture or dancing experience. With over 20 countries participating, BachataStars only continues to grow year after year.

Korke, master and creator of Bachata Sensual together with his partner Judith, desires BachataStars to be an invitation to all to come and become a representation of Bachata Sensual, where competitors and specially both national and international winners gain world recognition and open doors to great work opportunities as Bachata artists.

Alex Alberola, now director of Bachatastars International, has been in charge of thee competition since 6 years ago.
